Join us for a special storytelling session featuring Please Don’t Put That in Your Mouth by our very own Sri Lankan author Shehan Karunatilaka. Known internationally for his award-winning storytelling, including the Booker Prize-winning The Seven Moons of Maali Almeida, Karunatilaka brings his creativity into children’s literature through this engaging story.
This session introduces children to an important and playful lesson about curiosity, safety, and making thoughtful choices in everyday life. The session will also include fun interactive activities to spark imagination, discussion, and participation. It’s a lively and meaningful story of time connecting children with a celebrated local author and his featured children’s work. Seats are limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis.
