Wastewater, Wasteland

Join us for an engaging and creative session that takes children beneath the surface of Sri Lanka’s oceans to discover how plastic pollution and microplastics affect marine life.

Through an interactive storytelling experience, children will see the ocean from the perspective of a sea turtle and learn about the challenges faced by turtles and other marine animals, including plastic ingestion and entanglement.

The session will also introduce children to the causes and impact of microplastics and encourage them to think about how everyday actions can help protect our oceans.

Through drawing and writing activities, each child will have the opportunity to share their own ideas and solutions for reducing plastic pollution and creating healthier oceans for the future.
