Exam registration for private candidates (Pearson Edexcel)

Complete the Online Registration by referring the Unit, Option & Cash-in Codes and Availability List given in the Registration Information Sheet and submitting it through the Online Registration Link.

IPLS Summer 2026

 Access Arrangement Request Deadlines (if applicable)

Note:

• Entries submitted after the Normal Registration Period will be subjected to a late penalty. Refer to the Exam Fee List for more information.
• Late Registrations are not possible for subjects that include Coursework, Practical or Speaking Test Components.
• Registrations for subjects with a speaking component are subject to the availability of an examiner. Therefore, it is mandatory that the candidate checks with us before registering for such subjects.
• School Candidates will need to comply with the registration and payment deadlines set by their school.

Pearson IGCSE, GCE, GCSE & IAL please refer to the Exam Fee List.

All fees are payable in Sri Lankan Rupees (LKR).

• Private Candidates: Payments need to be made online by Visa / Master Card (Credit/Debit) during your online registration process
• School Candidates: Check with the respective school for Deadline / Payment Methods.

In the event your online payment fails, please follow the “Offline Payment Method”. 

Email the Confirmation / Screenshot of Bank Transfer payment to LK-bankdeposits@britishcouncil.lk with subject line "EDEXMJ26 – Exam Registration Reference Number".

If you fail to submit your registration before the above deadlines set by the British Council, you will be subjected to a Late Entry Fee.

• All fees are payable in Sri Lankan Rupees (LKR).
• You will receive an email within 48 hours from emailpay@gpapecomm.com to make the relevant payment via a secure online payment portal. 
• Kindly check your spam/junk folder for this email. Please ensure that payment is made within two (2) days of receiving instructions.
• School candidates will receive the necessary instructions directly from their school administrator or examinations officer, for further advise please contact your school. (Only applicable for school candidates)

Need to amend your entry? 

You can make amendments to the entry you have made. Candidate would have to register for the correct Subject / Unit and refund the erroneous one(s) in line with the “School Exam Refund Policy”. Amendments are subject to an additional payment as specified in the registration information sheet.

Statement of Entry (SOE) and Venue Information will reach you by;  

If you do not receive them by the given date, please contact British Council.

If there is an error in your name or date of birth on the SOE in comparison to your identification document, please inform us as soon as you receive the statement of entry to avoid ID verification issues on the exam date.
