The British Council has been at the forefront of fostering transnational education (TNE) partnerships, playing a pivotal role in connecting educational institutions across borders. Our commitment to enhancing the TNE sector is reflected in our numerous initiatives and collaborations aimed at improving access to quality higher education globally.
To deepen understanding of TNE in Sri Lanka, we commissioned research to examine the TNE provision and policy environment, and the potential outlook for future partnerships. It dives deep to assess its drivers for growth and identify areas that need support to unblock the potential for sustainable and quality TNE development aligned to education priorities of both nations. A thorough understanding of this environment will allow TNE stakeholders to make informed decisions when they engage in the construction, revision, and maintenance of TNE in Sri Lanka, particularly in anticipation of further growth.
