Storytelling

9.00 a.m. to 10.00 a.m.

Children love stories. They love to get involved in a different world, explore others’ experiences and be part of adventures. Storytime at the British Council gives your children a love of reading as well as expanding their confidence in English.

This week our story focuses on the theme of friendship for World Friendship Day.

Please note that children under six must be accompanied by their parent/guardian at all times.

Blindfolded challenges

10.00 a.m. to 10.15 a.m.

Our blindfolded drawing challenge will have your child laughing with their friends. Can they work together to complete the challenge? Can they communicate effectively with their friends?

Most importantly, your child will have fun with this challenge.

Children aged 3-5 years will take part in a drawing challenge and children between 6-10 years will take part in an obstacle course challenge.

How to make friends

10.15 a.m. to 10.30 a.m.

Your child discusses how to make and be good friends.

Being a good friend is a crucial skill!  We encourage your children to reflect on what makes a good friend in our interactive discussion activity.
