This year’s theme is “Record Breakers” and as the name suggests it will be based on the Guinness book of world records and the participants will be encouraged to complete associated activities under this theme alongside reading 6 books. These will be followed by two workshops; one in which they will create their own story and one in which they will join our cartoonist to create their own cartoon character.

Holidays are here again and so let’s get into reading.

With the motive of promoting the habit of reading among children, British Council libraries around the globe organise a fun reading programme during the August vacation for children between the ages of 7 and 15.

A different theme is selected each year to make the challenge more interesting for the kids and they are encouraged not only to read but also to take part in related activities and workshops to make the learning experience more enjoyable.
