Registrations are ongoing for Early Years, Primary, Lower, Middle, and Upper Secondary. We recommend that you book early in order to maximise your chance of getting your preferred day and time. 

In order to ensure a smooth experience, we recommend that you

  • complete your booking and payment confirmation.
  • submit a unique parent email address for each child through the following link if you have not already done so. Click here to access the link. 
  • check that you have received your login details 24 hours before the first class. Login details will be sent to the email addresses submitted through the link above.

 To book your child’s place, you will need to complete and confirm payment.

This is applicable to students studying in our centres in Colombo and Kandy.

You can either choose to pay the full term fee or the first instalment where applicable.

Note: If you are eligible for any family discount or credit, please pay the first instalment only or contact our Customer Service team for details of the exact amount you need to pay. The discount/credit will be applied to the second instalment. 

If you are paying for more than one child, please make this clear in your narration/reference and in your email with the payment confirmation.

How to complete registration? 

Step 1: Make an online bank transfer

According to your preferred payment option, please pay the amount to the account given below through an online bank transfer. 

  • Bank name: HSBC

  • Account name: British Council 
  • Narration/Reference details: Student number / contact number and name with initials. i.e. XXXXXX FULL NAME / CONTACT NUMBER

Step 1: Visit a bank to make a bank transfer (Alternative Option)

Online bank transfer is our preferred option. However, if you are unable to do so and plan to complete the payment by visiting a bank branch of your choice, please pay into the following account instead of the accounts mentioned above:

Narration/Reference details: Student number / contact number and name with initials  

Please avoid paying through cash deposit machines as the narration doesn’t appear on our statement and we will not be able to identify your payment easily and on time to complete your booking.   

Step 2: Provide payment confirmation

Email a clear copy of the online bank transfer confirmation slip to our Customer Service email address:  

Email Subject Line: Online Payment – STUDENT NO XXXXXX" – CONTACT NUMBER XXX 

Your payment will be confirmed within  two working days  upon submission of the confirmation slip. Your child’s place will be confirmed within two days of submitting the payment slip. 

Credit/Debit card payments over the phone

As our offices are currently closed, we are pleased to let you know that you can now make a Credit/Debit card payment by phone. Please note that this facility is currently restricted to Visa and Master credit cards. Please contact us on 117 521 521 in order to use this option.
