To support British Council’s global English strategy by delivering teaching to the highest standards of ELT and in continuing professional development and sharing of best practices.

Position type: Consultancy position; hourly paid, flexible work. Teachers will take on a weekly class (or classes) for a term of 10 – 13 weeks and will need to commit to teaching these classes. (Minimum of 12 – 15 hours a week). There is also the option of being on stand-by / covering classes if you choose.

Salary Between 2,500 LKR and 3,500 LKR an hour
Duration Freelance hourly paid
Working hours Hours are flexible based on availability, with weekends and evenings being peak times. Expected :12-25 hours of teaching per week, plus standby and long-term coverage opportunities.
