Teacher (Colombo | Kandy | Jaffna | Matara)
To support British Council’s global English strategy by delivering teaching to the highest standards of ELT and in continuing professional development and sharing of best practices.
Position type: Consultancy position; hourly paid, flexible work. Teachers will take on a weekly class (or classes) for a term of 10 weeks and will need to commit to teaching these classes. There is also the option of being on stand-by / covering classes if you choose.

|Salary||Between 1,980 LKR and 3,000 LKR an hour|
|Duration||Freelance hourly paid|
|Working hours||Hours are flexible depending on your availability weekends/weekday evenings tend to be peak teaching hours Not exceeding 25 hours of teaching per week There will also be stand-by and long term cover work available.|
