How to enrol for the competition

  1. Take your IELTS test with us for any format or module (AC or GT, IELTS on paper or IELTS on computer) between 20 January to 20 March 2024
  2. Register yourself for the Qatar Airways student club using the code QRBC2024

Terms & conditions

  • Scheme valid for IELTS test takers with the British Council between 20 January – 20 March 2024
  • Open to candidates taking Academic (AC) and General Training (GT) modules, whether IELTS on paper or IELTS on computer
  • Register for IELTS online or through any British Council registration partners
  • Winners will be required to provide photo/video consent and testimonial for promoting/publishing in the British Council's social media channel
  • Winners need to produce a valid passport to claim the gift
  • Winners will not be eligible for a refund of their IELTS fees once the prizes have been distributed
  • British Council’s decision on the winner will be absolute, ensuring a fair and transparent selection process
  • Offer is limited to Qatar Airways Student Club Members who have signed up using the enrolment code QRBC2024 and the winner must show proof of enrolment to the Qatar Airways Students Club to claim the award.   • The ticket must be issued by 31 October 2024 and Travel by 31 December 2024
  • Ticket applies only on Qatar Airways flights originating from Sri Lanka to destinations of Qatar Airways flying to on economy class
  • Ticket to be issued in the winners’ name only and is non-transferable
  • Embargo restrictions may apply
  • Qatar Airways and British Council will not be liable for the restrictions imposed by the countries; hence the ticket is not permitted to be issued on later dates under any circumstances post the issuance period
  • Please bring the original winning certificate which will be provided to you to issue the ticket. Failure to bring may result in denial of ticket issuance
