Get quick and easy access to your exam results with the British Council. There are two main ways to find out your results – the fastest option is to check online (see below for instructions). 

Where are postal exam results sent?

If you are a school student, your results will be posted to your school. If you are a private candidate, they will be posted to your home address.

When will I get my exam certificates?

Certificates are usually sent 10 weeks after the provisional results are released online.

Not the results you hoped for?

If you were expecting higher marks – or haven’t quite made the grades you need for your chosen university or college place – don’t panic. You may be able to retake your exams or even request re-marking in some cases. 

Results & Post Results Services

Online Results will be available as follows: 

  • IAL - 22 January 2026 (After 2:30 PM)
  • IGCSE - 22 January 2026 (After 2:30 PM)

Private Candidates

Electronic Statement of Results (ESOR) will be sent within 48hrs of Online Results Release via Email to the Exam Registered Email Address.

Hard Copy - Will be sent via Courier within 14 Days from Online Results Release Date.

School Candidates

Results will be emailed to respective schools and hard copies will be collected by an authorised school representative. Contact your schools for further details.

Late Cash-in

Only for Oct/Nov 2025 IAL Candidates. Apply using "Late Cash-in Form".

Special Late Cash-in

In Edexcel International ALs (IAL), Candidates, who have completed the required number of units but failed to apply for the certificate (cash-in) within the given timeline, may apply for Special Late Cash-in. This is applicable only for exams completed within the last 5 years and subjected to approval / acceptance by the exam board.

Results of Oct/Nov 2025 Series will be available to view online from: 

  • GCE AS & AL - 09 January 2026 (After 11.30 AM)
  • IGCSE & OL - 15 January 2026 (After 11.30 AM)

Candidates (Private & School) can access their examination results online via Cambridge Candidate Results Service.

Login details have already been emailed to the candidates' registered email addresses.

British Council Partner Schools may access the results through their secure sites.

“Hard Copies of Statements of Results” are expected by 31 March 2026 & Certificates (only for eligible candidates) by 31 May 2026. They will be sent to the respecitve schools and private candidates via courier after receiving.
