Summer School for Young Learners
Come and learn English with Shaun the Sheep this August!
We’re excited to be running a week-long summer school this August from Monday 19 to Friday 23 August for children aged 6 to 12 years old.
Drop off your kids for 5 consecutive days packed with fun and interactive English language games, creative play, English project work, craft, Storytime and more. Together with British Council teachers, your children will spend their days exploring books, working together, engaging in reading and writing projects, role-playing and using drama to build their spoken confidence. Days will include a focus on learning new vocabulary and grammar, giving presentations, learning through film and researching and designing together in English.
Come on a journey with the British Council and Shaun and Sheep; Immerse your children in English with a great summer of learning!
Classes will be grouped by age and level; 6-7, 8-9, 10-12. They will be split into groups dependent on level in the first workshop of the week.
Classes will be held every day from 8.00 a.m. to 1.30 p.m.
Course fee: Rs. 12,000 for the entire programme
Parent Clubs
In addition to students, we also have a series of workshops offered on each day between 12.15 p.m. to 1.15 p.m. exclusively for parents. This workshop series will be offered free of charge. Limited slots available.

Tuesday 20 August 2019 | Helping your child become a confident and articulate learner | In this session, Helping your child become a confident learner, we will talk about how confidence helps language learners to improve more quickly and give advice on how we can help our children develop more confidence in the classroom. All parents are welcome. |
Wednesday 21 August 2019 | Helping with reading | In this workshop, we aim to demonstrate the importance of sharing reading with children and give you some practical tips to inspire your child to read. This workshop is for parents |
Thursday 22 August 2019 | Introduction to Phonics | What is phonics and why is it important? We will look at how we teach phonics in class and how you can support your child’s development of phonics at home. This is particularly suitable for parents of younger children |
Friday 23 August 2019 | How to increase your child's attention span | Children often struggle to pay attention for more than a few minutes. This can affect their grades at school and frustrate teachers and parents. This session on How to increase your child’s attention span, is about techniques to help your child stay focused and pay attention for longer periods of time. |
