Meet the panellists

Reeza Zarook

Founder, Rukula (Pvt) Ltd.

Reeza has a degree in Economics and Accountancy and then qualified as a Chartered Accountant (UK). He has had the privilege of working in London, Brazil, Singapore and Sri Lanka with companies such as Arthur Andersen, Deutsche Bank, Millennium IT and even includes a stint with the Government of Sri Lanka whilst working with the founding team of the ICTA, Sri Lanka in 2003. He is most well known within Sri Lanka for launching Anything.lk in 2011. 

 

Dr. Arosha Gunasekera

CEO and Director, Innovest Investments (Pvt) Limited

Arosha completed his B.Sc. in Management (University of Warwick),  M.Sc. in Management Research (University of Oxford) as well as completed a Ph.D. from the University of Cambridge. He is also an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Securities & Investment (UK). Arosha studied at Royal College, Colombo and thereafter at Stafford International School. Arosha is currently CEO/Director of Innovest Investments (Pvt) Limited – a licensed investment management company in Sri Lanka.

Ermiza Tegal

Ermiza Tegal

Attorney at Law

Ms. Ermiza Tegal is an Attorney at Law with a Masters Degree in Law, Governance, and Development from the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS) London. Her legal practice primarily is in the area of Fundamental Rights and legal issues of women and children. She also collaborates with a number of local NGOs on human rights issues. She is also currently involved in is advising the National Women's Committee on legislative changes to the Prevention of Domestic Violence Act.
