You need to do a level check before you register for a course.  This test will place you in the correct class for your level.  You can take the test online if you are over 18 years old by booking a consultation.  If you do not have an email address, please call us on 011 7521521 or come into our branch on 70 Rakka Road, Jaffna and we will provide you with alternative ways of taking the test.

Buying your Course Book

Once you have registered for your course you will need to purchase the required book.  You can do this at the British Council Jaffna.

We have a diverse teaching staff which reflects the fact that English is an international language and the UK is a diverse, multi-cultural society; all our teachers are UK qualified which is reflected in the high teaching quality and effectiveness of learning. Our teaching material is from the UK which gives added cultural context to the learning.
